Foodtech Forum is back — bigger, bolder, and better in 2025!
Mark your calendars for a full-day event where groundbreaking ideas, bold innovations, and future food systems take center stage. Welcome to Foodtech Forum 2025 — the ultimate meeting place for pioneers, professionals, and visionaries working to transform how we produce, distribute, and consume food.
We’re scaling up:

- More inspiring keynote sessions to challenge conventional thinking and uncover the drivers shaping the future of foodtech.

The day will culminate with the Foodtech Forum Award — celebrating the Company of the Year and honouring the trailblazers driving the foodtech revolution.

Start your Foodtech Forum 2025 experience by exploring the exhibition hall, where startups and innovators showcase the latest advancements in foodtech. Sample cutting-edge solutions, meet changemakers from across the industry, and get inspired. The exhibition hall will remain open throughout the day — before, during, and after the stage sessions.
13:00 – 14:00 – Foodtech as a Force for System Change
Analisa Winther returns to guide us through the day and share insights. Analisa will explore how we can work collectively to unlock a more sustainable and equitable future of the food system
The team of the Foodtech Innovation Network, will set the stage by stating the network’s mission to accelerate the growth of foodtech SMEs and highlight the latest trends and innovations emerging from Skåne.
Elena Walden, Senior Policy Manager, Good Food Institute Europe – The Role of Alternative Proteins in Transforming the System. Elena will zoom out to the big picture, exploring how alternative proteins can address global challenges and the Nordics’ unique role in shaping this fast-growing sector.
Andrew Merrie, PhD, Science & Futures Lead, Planethon – Radical Food Futures – Futures Literacy as an Innovation Strategy in a Fast-Changing World. This session immerses in one possible future of the food system. Andrew will introduce futures and scenario thinking and highlight signals shaping the future of food.
14:30 – 15:30 – From Vision to Action: How to Scale Foodtech
Analisa Winther explores how we move from great ideas to real-world implementation and impact across the food system.
Jonatan Leer, Professor in Meal Knowledge – Sustainable Gastronomy: High Tech or Low Tech? What does sustainable gastronomy look like? This talk dives into how restaurants can act as innovation labs, how meals can both seduce and educate, and whether foodtech is a solution — or part of the problem — for gastronomy.
Marcus K. Adevi, Food and Consumer Researcher, RISE Research Institutes of Sweden – Beyond the Menu: Making Sustainable Food Desirable. The sociology of taste and contemporary food culture, revealing how values, identities, and social norms shape our everyday food choices. Food is more than what’s on the plate — it’s culture, identity, and a powerful force for change.
Speakers to be announced – Panel Discussion: Local Action, Global Impact. A discussion on how sustainable action can drive systemic transformation in food.
16:00 – 17:00 – Foodtech Forum Award 2025
Join us in celebrating the pioneers of the foodtech revolution with the Foodtech Forum Award 2025, honoring ’Company of the Year’, proudly presented in collaboration with Kolossal and AFRY. This award recognizes innovative companies driving entrepreneurial success, scalability, and market potential, while shaping a more sustainable future for food. The Winner of the Foodtech Forum Award will be announced live at Foodtech Forum 2025.
The esteemed jury includes Katrin Hedvall, Business Unit Manager at AFRY; Martin Sandström, Creative Director & CEO, Kolossal; Daniel Skavén Ruben, Founding Partner at Foodtech Weekly and Solvable Syndicate; Paul Archambeau, Senior Associate, Kost Capital, and Fanny Sturén, Project Manager for Sustainable Development at Urban Deli.
