AFRY returns and expands their support for Foodtech Company of the Year Award at Foodtech Forum 2026 

Foodtech Innovation Network is pleased to announce that AFRY continues its engagement as sponsor and jury partner for the Foodtech Company of the Year Award at Foodtech Forum 2026 in Malmö. 

As a returning partner, AFRY increases their engagement and remains an important contributor to the award and to the broader ambition of strengthening innovation and sustainable transformation within the food system. 

The Foodtech Company of the Year Award recognises exhibiting member companies within Foodtech Innovation Network that demonstrate strong innovation, scalability and potential to shape the future of food. Previous winners include Dapibuset and Diapure, companies recognised for their contributions to more sustainable and forward-looking food production. 

As part of the award initiative, AFRY contributes strategic expertise and business support to the winning company, helping accelerate growth and development beyond the event itself. This year’s award package will be the most extensive in the history of the Foodtech Company of the Year Award.

Foodtech Forum is one of Scandinavia’s leading meeting places for foodtech innovation, gathering startups, scaleups, investors, industry leaders and public stakeholders from across the food system. 

This year’s jury evaluates companies based on criteria including innovation and technical depth, sustainability impact, scalability, consumer value and transformational potential within the food industry. 

Katrin Hedvall returns as part of the jury alongside representatives from across the foodtech and innovation ecosystem.
