Hunger is the world’s greatest solvable health problem. There are 17 million children who are living on the edge between life and death due to hunger. In Sweden alone 60% of the population over 65 years are at risk of being malnourished. Hunger can take on many forms and affect different people but the devastation remains great. In order to reach the UNs sustainable development goals number #2 Zero Hunger there is a need for more innovative solutions to the problem.

Vision

SunFeeds aim is to create new nutritional energy food that could fill the existing gaps in the market and facilitate it in the right way. Today there are two different SunFeeds. SunFeeds-cream is developed to meet the needs of elderly cared for in the healthcare- system. SunFeeds RUTF is aimed for children who suffer from severe malnutrition. Both products are easily packaged in a portion sized sachet with long shelf life which makes it easy to distribute and for care-personal to serve.

Therefore, we decided all our products should be natural, and mainly from plants. & our friends as a brand, a belief, and a friend, will display these two defined personality attributes: One. We will only work with natural, organic, and primary focus on plant ingredients. Within our range, there are a few delicacies suitable for vegan friends, other for vegetarian friends, some for friends that exclude gluten or dairy, and almost all for any other friend. Why? Because the future should be honest, real, and heavily focused on what our plants can provide for a better world, oat to hemp and seaweed and beyond. You can say we like land, sea and..bees! Two. Providing the market with a new type of plant based drink that are both sustainable and nutritious. Most of the plant based drinks on market today are flawed in one of these two regards. Either the nutritional values are quite frankly very poor with high levels of sugars and low levels of proteins and healthy fatty acids, or the have a big negative environmental impact with de-forestation, excessive watering, lenghty transports etc. Our product is both high nutritious and highly sustainable.

Our vision is to push the boundries of the next generation of plant based sustainable foods. Cheese production is tremendously resource-inefficient. For every kilogram of cheese produced, the cheesemaker must process 10 liters of milk. The reason for this is that cheese is effectively a milk concentrate, whereby liquids are removed, and milk protein and fat is concentrated and formed into a curd. Consider then the fact that around 45% of all milk produced globally is used for cheese production and the massive impact of cheese on the environment becomes obvious.

Cirkulär AB will be a new player in the value chain of the dairy industry, providing a complementary raw material for dairy processing – microbially produced milk proteins for a more resource-efficient industry. Cirkulär AB and similar companies will be the new producers of milk components for the production dairy products, which will ease the pressure of current milk production on the environment.

Lupinta

Lupinta produces tasty, healthy and environmentally friendly meat-substitutes based on locally farmed lupin beans. Lupin is a native European legume, high in plant-protein content, high in fibre and low in fat, that can be farmed in the Nordic countries, being a perfect alternative with a lower carbon footprint to both meat and imported soy-based options.

Vision

We want to position Lupin as the natural European alternative for imported soy. We want to create an industry around Lupin in Europe and cut down the importation of 32 million tons of soy annually to the EU.

Our vision and mission is to work close to the university in collaborative environments and work for the advancement of hemp in harmony with Sweden’s organic farmers. Our ambition is for the organic hemp in Sweden to make the “big leap” and in this respect we want to take advantage of the capacity from the entire plant.

Our long-term ambition with Mossagården is to, with the help of healthy, nutritious quality products in the protein shift and also environmentally oriented services, climb the ”sustainability steps” and achieve the goal of serving people and connecting them to nature with the same keywords as the EU’s major investment: ”From farm to fork ”. We strive to protect and preserve our environment and the planet with our actions.
