Open Table Discussions are now open for registration

New for Foodtech Forum 2026, we are introducing Open Table Discussions – curated small-group conversations designed to help you get even more out of your participation.

The discussions bring together entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, industry and public sector actors for focused conversations on some of the key topics shaping the future of food. Led by experts, the sessions will explore themes such as food innovation, sustainability, investment, technology and scaling. The Open Table Discussions offer an opportunity to exchange perspectives, share experiences and build new connections.

The most valuable insights often emerge when people meet and share different perspectives. That’s why these sessions are designed for active participation and open conversation in small groups.

How to join

Seats are limited, and you will need to apply for a place at the Open Table Discussion you would like to attend. After submitting your application, you will receive a response from Luma by email. If your application is approved, you will then receive a calendar invitation.

Important: You must be registered for Foodtech Forum 2026 before you can apply for an Open Table Discussion.

The next ten exhibiting companies for Foodtech Forum 2026 are now being announced, bringing together another group of innovators driving the transformation of the food system through technology, sustainability and novel business models.

The selected companies represent a wide range of foodtech innovation, spanning food waste reduction, smart packaging, functional nutrition, urban food production and next-generation ingredients. Together, they demonstrate the breadth of solutions emerging across the Scandinavian and international foodtech ecosystem. 

Each company contributes a unique perspective on how innovation can help build a more resilient, resource-efficient and sustainable food system, while addressing evolving consumer needs and global challenges. 

Ten more exhibitors announced for Foodtech Forum 2026

Roots of Malmö AB 

Roots of Malmö produces live, unpasteurized fermented beverages using organic and wild botanical ingredients. The company combines traditional fermentation with modern production to create premium functional drinks with a lower environmental impact. 

GreenBioNourish AB

GBN AB has developed BoostNCaps®, a technology that improves the delivery and absorption of vitamins, minerals, and iron in liquid foods and beverages. The solution enables clean-label food fortification without compromising taste or product quality. 

Connectitude AB 

Connectitude provides a digital platform that combines production planning, machine data, and food safety management into one intelligent system. The solution helps food manufacturers improve efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen quality control through real-time insights. 

Gnista Spirits 

Gnista Spirits develops premium non-alcoholic spirits designed specifically for cocktails using distillation, brewing, and barrel ageing techniques. The company delivers complex alcohol-free alternatives that combine craftsmanship with food innovation. 

Gasporox AB 

Gasporox develops laser-based technology that inspects packaged food without opening or damaging the packaging. The solution enables real-time quality control, helping manufacturers reduce food waste and improve production efficiency. 

Aigu Matcha AB 

Aigu Matcha develops clean-label, oat-based matcha beverages that provide natural energy in a ready-to-drink format. The company combines functional nutrition, convenience, and plant-based ingredients to meet growing demand for healthier beverages. 

Smacker AB  

Smacker AB develops protein- and vegetable-rich burgers designed for public meals, combining nutrition with great taste. The products support healthier and more sustainable food service while promoting greater dietary diversity.
